The Sun, The Moon and The Kids

On Monday, August 21st, people all over North America gathered outside to experience the celestial event of the solar eclipse. This was the first total solar eclipse visible in the United States in 38 years.  Our Georgia-based Technology team spent the historic moment volunteering at a local elementary school helping local students enjoy the experience.

As you can see, the kids were well-prepared with their protective sunglasses!  Our volunteers also live-streamed Oregon’s view of the eclipse, which was one of the best places to see the eclipse live. The kids asked many questions, wondering if it “will it mess up the iPhones?” and “will it buzz?” Kudos to our Technology colleagues for their community-spirit! (And we hope you were able to see the eclipse locally as well!)
